Many Worlds is the debut studio album from Kevin Metzger and R. Aaron Walters. Seven songs. Recorded live in Austin, TX and finished in Nashville, TN. No click tracks. No tune-ups in post. Just two people who've been playing music together since they were teenagers in upstate NY bands.

The album is on streaming. The free physical CD — and what's coming next — is only here.

Three originals plus reimagined improv-laden covers by Keith Jarrett, J.S. Bach, the Grateful Dead, and the Mahavishnu Orchestra. About an hour of music; from the brooding, searching, and Italo Calvino-inspired opening of In a Network of Lines That Enlace, to a twelve-minute Brokedown Palace that segues right into a Bach violin sonata, to ending on Normal, an original Kevin wrote after the 2018 death of his best friend.

It's also Kevin's debut full-length under his own name, made after years of rebuilding from a 2017 car accident that nearly ended his career as a performing guitarist.

Live New Worlds — the duo's new live record with guest musicians, out October 9 — is the direct follow-up.
